In beautiful weather, one of the first junior races was started at noon by the RSV Passau board and Otto Peter. This was also followed by various races of the "Master" classes with the staging of the Bavarian Championships. A junior race was also integrated.

This was followed by the start of the amateur/elite-amateur/KT class at approx. 15:15. After a neutralised lap in honour of our team, the official start of the race over 27 laps took place. At the beginning, all riders of the team went into various attacks to make the race fast and force the competition into action. At the halfway point of the race, Patrick Haller was able to secure the proclaimed sprint bonus. In the second half of the race, Pawel Szostka and two other riders broke away from the main field and were able to open up a 25-second lead. In lap five it was decided to close the gap to the leading group to allow the favourite Bartosz Rudyk to sprint. This succeeded after three more laps and a fast bunch sprint took place. Bartosz was able to live up to his role as favourite and thus took the first victory of the team at the home race in Passau.

In summary, it was a successful cycling festival with a joyful atmosphere and we thank all the helpers and participants who made this so possible.
